Web 2.0 Presentation at the Frisco Chamber of Commerce
December 14th, 2007We had a great time at the Frisco Texas Chamber of Commerce when we presented at their “Get on Track” networking event on Thursday the 14th. Below is a video of my presentation on Web 2.0 that was very well received. We are already looking forward to doing another speaking engagement with them, and in fact Scott Higsby of C-People (one of our clients) will be speaking there next week on trends on the recruiting industry and the shortage of talent in todays market.
Let me just say I have been involved with many Chambers over the years and I see something really special in the Frisco Chamber. Frisco is a mix of young and exciting entrepreneurs and experienced and solid professionals. Both of these groups are excited and creative in building their businesses. There is a true spirit of cooperation among the members and a real desire to make the town better.
We talked a number of people about coming on the Dallas Business Broadcast in the coming weeks and have some really interesting guests lined up for that. One we are really excited about is former NFL wide Reciever Jake Reed who will appear with his wife Vinita to discuss why they choose Frisco to start up the Frisco Thunder (a new area football team) and the larger community mission of their team.If you are anywhere near Frisco Texas I recommend highly that you get in touch with their Chamber about joining and getting involved.
